Imation IMN27672 Data Cartridge

Product description

Ultrium Gen 5 data cartridge is designed for use with LTO 5 drives. Corrugated with case, this single tape cartridge features 1.5 terabytes of native capacity and 3.0 terabytes of compressed capacity with data transfer rates of up to 280MB per second (2:1 compression). Partitioning allows you to see what information is stored on the tape and faster search results via enhanced file control and space management. Advanced servo-writing allows closer track spacing and more data, while keeping drive heads aligned on the data tracks for precise data reading/writing and improved reliability. Patented corner snap improves cartridge strength and protects data during shipping or mishandling. Data cartridge protects sensitive information at the drive level with hardware-based 256-bit encryption. Patented three-piece tape spool design distributes stress more evenly over the tape surface for better performance and longer archival life.
